Overview

Observo alerts supports the integration with your organizations Opsgenie. This document provides instructions on configuring Opsgenie to receive alerts triggered from Observo.

Configure Opsgenie

Observo requires an api URL and an API key to send alerts to Opsgenie. The URL https://api.opsgenie.com/v2/alerts can be used as the API key. The following steps are needed to generate this API key:

  • In Opsgenie, go to Setting > Integrations > Add integration.

  • Search for "API" in the search bar and select API.

  • Provide a name for the integration, assign a team, and click "Continue."

  • On the next page, you will find details about your integration, including the API key.

  • Collect and save the API key, then click on Turn on Integration at the top right.

Now you have your API URL and API key ready to create an Opsgenie alert channel on Observo.
