Onboarding

During our on-boarding session, we will guide you through the installation of Observo in your environment. By the end of this process, you'll have a fully configured Pipeline that optimizes the flow of observability data in your environment.

Requirements Prior To On-boarding

• Determine the deployment mode - Hydrid or Private Cloud

• Provision Kubernetes cluster or VM to deploy Observo. Please refer to the sizing guide here.

• Identify Sources & Destinations that will be on-boarded.

• Credentials to send data from Sources & ingest data in Destinations.

On-boarding Steps

We've broken down the on-boarding process into the following steps:

1. Deploy Observo Manager (applicable in Private Cloud deployments).

2. Deploy Observo Site (applicable in Hybrid and Private Cloud deployments).

3. Log into Observo to configure Sources, Destinations and Pipeline.

Who needs to be present?

We require an individual who has the necessary permissions to install Observo services in your shared/new K8s cluster.

How will resources be created?

During the on-boarding process, our representative will collaborate with your company's representative to deploy Observo Site and configure pipelines. Deployment of Observo Site will require executing helm charts that will be run on your representative's local machine. It is important to ensure that the representative has the appropriate permissions to install services on the given K8s cluster.
